Princess Fawzia Bint Fuad. Daughter of King Fuad I. The Egyptian Queen of Iran as the first wife of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi. After the Shah’s ascent to the throne, Queen Fawzia appeared on the cover of the 21 September 1942 issue of Life magazine. They described her as an “Asian Venus” with “a perfect heart-shaped face and strangely pale but piercing blue eyes.” Such words are truly beautiful.
I love Egyptians. Our countries shared a great friendship and I have nothing but respect for the Egyptian people, because it’s their land where my last King is resting.
